Stadiums, sports arenas, concert halls, and trade and conference centers are venues that can host thousands of people at once, while simultaneously functioning as elements of critical infrastructure exposed to both physical and cyber threats. The debate will focus on the comprehensive security of these spaces – from technical and organizational safeguards to crisis-response procedures, and the new risks emerging from the digitalization of ticketing systems, monitoring, broadcasting, and IT/OT infrastructure.
Panelists will discuss whether current standards are sufficient and how to effectively strengthen the resilience of mass-attendance facilities by combining the perspectives of event organizers, venue operators, technology providers, and Security Operations Center teams.
After the panel, participants are invited to visit the nearby Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk – one of the key event infrastructure facilities in the region – followed by informal discussions on site.
